Do you figure out every secret surprise? So does my friend Bryson. For months, she'd been trying to catch her boyfriend, Grant, when he was ready to propose. We were convinced he would never get away with surprising her. So when Grant reached out during our spring semester of senior year, and said he wanted to plan a surprise proposal, I knew I had to be involved.
Wrangling our fantastic department director, our lovely fibers professor, our other friend, Margeaux, and myself - Grant was able to put together a PowerPoint timeline of their relationship, to their song, I hid my video camera, and we waited for Bryson to arrive to class.
Afterwards, we planned to take their engagement photos at the stunning grounds at Dumbarton Oaks, in Washington, D.C. It was an incredible shoot, and I hope you love these images as much as we do.
